1C server rental in Riga

An office PC was never meant to serve a whole accounting team. It shares its CPU and disk with everyday desktop work, has no server-grade storage, and stops whenever the office loses power or internet, usually right before a reporting deadline. Your accountants connect to the server securely over VPN or RDP from the office, from home or from a client site, so daily work no longer depends on one physical machine under a desk.

CloudHosting sells three ready 1C plans: Small with 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM from 47.60 EUR a month, Business with 8 vCPU and 32 GB RAM, and Ultra with 16 vCPU and 128 GB RAM. The right one depends on how many people work in 1C at the same time and whether the base runs in file or SQL mode. Small suits a small team with a file base, Business fits growing companies with more concurrent users, and Ultra is meant for heavy loads such as large SQL bases or several bases on one server. CloudHosting delivers 1C servers with Windows Server by default, the usual choice for 1C, and Linux with PostgreSQL on request. Most 1C specialists know Windows well, and both file and SQL bases run on it without extra work. The Windows Server licence is not included in the plan price: you buy it from us or use your own key. Linux with PostgreSQL makes sense when your 1C specialist already supports that stack. You can switch the operating system in the cart when ordering. Either way the server is handed over with the base OS ready, and installing 1C and configuring the base is your side of the work, or a separate service we quote on request.

CloudHosting includes daily backups kept for 7 days on every 1C plan, stored separately from the server itself. That separation is the point: if the hardware fails, the backup does not fail with it, and your accounting data can be restored on a replacement machine. Backups also cover the more common case of human error, such as a base damaged by an unlucky update or a deleted document journal. Since you have full Administrator access, you can also make your own 1C archive copies on top, and for truly critical data we recommend keeping one copy outside our infrastructure as well.

CloudHosting hands over the 1C server with the operating system and secure access already working, so moving an existing base is usually a routine job for your 1C specialist. They connect, install the platform and restore the base from a backup or an archive copy. Workstations need nothing new beyond the 1C client, users simply point it at the new server. Plan the switch for an evening or a weekend, keep the old base untouched until everyone has confirmed the new one works, and only then retire it. CloudHosting gives access to a 1C server over VPN or RDP through an encrypted channel, on a VPS isolated from other clients in its Tier 3+ data centre in Riga, on its own network AS58269. Traffic between an accountant and the server cannot be read on the way. You hold full Administrator access, which means you decide who gets an account, and we recommend keeping the user list short and the passwords strong. Sensible practice is to prefer VPN for regular work and treat direct RDP exposure to the internet carefully. CloudHosting rents the server, and 1C licences either stay your own or are bought through us on request. You can bring your own 1C platform and client licences and activate them on the rented server; they remain your property and move with you. Our part of the deal is always the server, the operating system and secure access; licensing, 1C installation and ongoing administration are optional services on top, so you pay for them only if you order them. CloudHosting 1C server plans start at 47.60 EUR a month for Small on a 12 month term, or 56 EUR month to month, without VAT. Business and Ultra are the larger steps up for more users and heavier bases. Your contract for a 1C server is with CloudHosting SIA, a Latvian IT infrastructure provider operating since 2016, which runs its Tier 3+ data centre in Riga itself rather than renting racks from someone else. The same company runs the network, AS58269, and employs the engineers who answer your tickets. Invoices are issued and paid in EUR: companies in Latvia pay 21% VAT, EU companies with a valid VAT number are invoiced under reverse charge, and companies outside the EU are invoiced without VAT. Nothing is taken from your card automatically; the service continues when you pay the next invoice. Latvian law applies, and a data processing agreement is available on request.

CloudHosting support for 1C servers works in English, Latvian and Russian: monitoring and incident response run 24/7, and engineers answer on working days from 9:00 to 17:00 Riga time. Tickets, email and phone all reach the same team that runs the data centre and the network. The infrastructure under your server, power, network and hardware, is watched around the clock, and an incident that affects it is handled at any hour. Inside the server, 1C, its bases and user accounts are yours to run, because you hold full Administrator access. CloudHosting does not lock a 1C server into a long contract: you pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, and to stop you simply do not pay the next invoice. Your data stays yours throughout. With full Administrator access you can make a 1C backup of each base at any time and restore it on another server, an office machine or with another provider, and your own 1C licences move with you. To end a service early, inside a period you have already paid for, write to info@cloudhosting.lv 20 days in advance. If a service is blocked for non-payment, the data is kept for at least 30 days from the end of the paid period, so there is time to take a final copy.
