What a Windows VPS is
A Windows VPS is a virtual machine on our hardware that runs Windows Server instead of Linux: Windows server hosting with RDP access, in a data centre instead of under a desk. You connect to it over Remote Desktop exactly as you would to a physical Windows computer, install what you need, and it keeps running around the clock in the data centre, not on a laptop that goes to sleep. It suits software that only exists for Windows, accounting systems, trading terminals, Windows-only services and anything you want reachable from anywhere without leaving a PC switched on at the office.
This page is for people who administer the server themselves: you get the machine, the system and the access, and the rest is yours. If you would rather have us set up the desktops, the users, the backups and the software for your team, that is the remote office product, priced per workplace.

What every plan includes
Windows Server 2025 ready to log in
The image is installed and updated for you and activates with the licence you request from us, or with your own key. You receive an administrator login and an IP address, connect over RDP and start working.
NVMe storage and reserved resources
Every plan runs on NVMe disks and the vCPU and memory you order are yours, not shared with a noisy neighbour. Windows starts fast and stays responsive with several programs open.
Full administrator rights
It is your server: install any software, open ports, add roles, create users, join a domain. We do not restrict what runs on it as long as it stays within the terms of service.
Backups you can switch on
Daily snapshots of the whole machine can be added to any plan and restored from the client panel. For an off-site copy the same panel sells S3 object storage in the EU.
Riga or the Netherlands
Pick the location in the cart. Both sites are our own hardware under EU jurisdiction, with our own network and IPv4 addresses, so your data stays in Europe and the invoice comes in euro.
People who answer
Support in English, Latvian and Russian on working days from 9:00 to 17:00, monitoring of the platform around the clock, and one invoice for the server together with any other service you take from us.

Accounting and 1C
Keep the accounting database on a machine in the data centre and let the accountant connect from wherever she works. Backups happen every night and the laptop can be lost without losing a single invoice.
Trading terminals and bots
MetaTrader and similar terminals want a Windows machine that runs 24 hours a day with a stable connection. A small VPS does that for a fraction of the cost of a dedicated PC left switched on.
Windows-only business software
Warehouse, CRM and industry programs that ship only for Windows and have to be reachable by several branches. Install once on the server, let each branch connect over RDP.
Test and staging machines
A clean Windows Server for testing an installer, a driver, a script or an update before it touches a production machine. Order it for a month, snapshot it, throw it away.

Windows VPS or a remote office?
The same Windows Server sits under both. The difference is who does the work after the order.
Windows VPS: you administer it
You get the machine, the system and administrator access, and you install, configure and maintain it yourself. Best for one or two technical users, developers, and software that you already know how to run.
Remote office: we administer it
We set up a desktop for every employee, install Office, run the backups and keep it working. Priced per workplace, with administration hours included. Best for a company that wants its people working from anywhere without an IT department.

About a minute later the server is running and the administrator password and IP address are in the client panel. Open Remote Desktop on any computer, enter them, and the Windows desktop is on your screen.
Windows VPS questions
Which Windows version do I get?
Windows Server 2025 Standard with the desktop experience, which is the current version supported by Microsoft until 2029. Older images exist in the cart for compatibility with legacy software, but for a new server there is no reason to pick them.
Can I install Windows 10 or Windows 11 instead?
No. Desktop editions of Windows are licensed for a personal device, not for a rented server, so a hosting provider cannot lawfully offer them. Windows Server with the desktop experience looks and behaves like the desktop version for every ordinary program, and that is what runs here.
How do I connect to the server?
Over Remote Desktop, the RDP client that is built into Windows and available free for macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Enter the IP address from the client panel, the administrator login and the password, and the desktop opens in a window on your screen.
How many people can use one server?
Windows Server allows two simultaneous Remote Desktop sessions for administration without any additional licence. If several employees need to work on one machine at the same time, each of them needs a Remote Desktop user licence, and at that point the remote office product is the better fit: it is priced per workplace and we set the users up for you.
Is the server ready straight after payment?
Yes. The image is deployed automatically, and the server is normally reachable within a minute or two after the payment is confirmed. The login details appear in the client panel and are also sent by e-mail.
What is the difference between this and a Linux VPS?
The hardware, the network and the panel are the same, and so is the price of the machine. The difference is the operating system: Windows Server needs more memory and disk space than Linux, and its licence is a separate cost, available on request from Basic up or brought by you. If your software runs on Linux, the Linux VPS is the cheaper choice.
Can I upgrade the plan later?
Yes. vCPU, memory and disk can be increased from the client panel, and the price changes from the next billing period. Moving down is possible as well, as long as the data still fits on the smaller disk.
Where does the server run and who can access my data?
On our own hardware in Riga, Latvia, or in the Netherlands, both under EU jurisdiction. Only you hold the administrator password. Our engineers do not log in to customer machines unless you ask for help and give access for that task.
Is this RDP hosting, and is a Windows VDS the same thing?
Yes on both counts. RDP hosting is simply a Windows server you reach over Remote Desktop, which is what every plan here is. VDS, virtual dedicated server, is another name for the same virtual machine with reserved vCPU and memory. Whatever the label, you get Windows Server 2025 on NVMe storage with a dedicated IPv4 address in Riga or the Netherlands. What we do not sell is anonymous RDP: every server is tied to a verified customer account.
