Longer periods cost less: 3 months saves 5%, 6 months 10% and 12 months 15%, applied automatically in the cart. The largest standard plan, 16 vCPU with 128 GB RAM and 2 TB NVMe, is 572 EUR a month, and the VPS calculator prices custom sizes. Every price includes NVMe storage, a dedicated IPv4 address, a 1 Gbps port and private networking, with no setup fee. Latvian VAT of 21% is added for customers in Latvia and for EU customers without a valid VAT number; companies with a VIES-valid number elsewhere in the EU buy at 0% with reverse charge. The Windows Server licence is not included in any price.

CloudHosting runs its VPS in two live regions with the same plans, prices and panel: Riga, Latvia (RIX1), in the Tier 3+ data centre we run ourselves, and Amsterdam, Netherlands (NL1); Dubai (DXB1) is available on request. Choose Riga when your users are in the Baltics, Finland, Poland or the Nordics, when data should stay in Latvia, or when you want servers our own engineers maintain on site. Choose Amsterdam when most of your visitors are in Western Europe. The two sites are a few tens of milliseconds apart, your data stays in the region you picked, and support can move a server to the other region later on request.

A CloudHosting VPS is live 30 to 60 seconds after payment, with no ticket and no manual review. Preconfigured Linux images (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux) and Windows Server templates deploy automatically, so ordering at night or at the weekend changes nothing. The root or Administrator password appears in the client panel together with a browser console for emergencies. A card payment activates the server at once; a bank transfer activates it as soon as the bank confirms the money has arrived. The server, its login details and the invoice are all visible in the client panel from the first minute.

CloudHosting offers Linux and Windows Server on every VPS plan at the same machine price, but the Windows Server licence is never included. Linux images include Ubuntu LTS, Debian, CentOS and AlmaLinux, with other distributions on request, and you get full root access over SSH. Windows Server installs with a trial licence that you activate either with a licence bought from us, as a Microsoft partner, or with your own key. You connect over RDP as Administrator; two concurrent administrative sessions work out of the box, and RDS CALs can be added when more people must work at once. You can reinstall or switch the operating system later: the IP address and the plan stay, only the disk contents are replaced.

Every CloudHosting VPS comes with full root access on Linux or Administrator on Windows, and we keep no accounts inside your server. Each VPS is a fully virtualized machine with its own kernel, so Docker, Docker Compose, Podman and k3s run without restrictions; for several containers we recommend at least 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM. A mail server works too: every VPS has a dedicated IPv4 address, and we set the PTR (reverse DNS) record on request, so with SPF, DKIM and DMARC your mail authenticates properly. The client panel adds power controls and a browser console that works even when SSH or the firewall is misconfigured. Updates inside the operating system are your responsibility unless you order administration.

A CloudHosting VPS can grow to 16 vCPU, 128 GB RAM and 2 TB NVMe without reinstalling the operating system; a resize usually needs a single reboot. You can move to a bigger ready plan or, when none fits, set exact numbers in the VPS calculator. CPU and RAM can later be reduced as well, but disk size can only grow, which is a limitation of every virtual storage layer and worth knowing before you order a very large volume. If you are unsure which size you need, start smaller: growing later is routine, while shrinking a disk is not possible.

Every CloudHosting VPS plan includes daily backups kept for 7 days, stored separately from the server, and you restore them yourself from the client panel. Hourly snapshots and a copy in the other region are not part of the standard plan: ask support and we will price them for your setup. A snapshot captures the whole machine, so a failed upgrade rolls back in minutes rather than hours. Restores through the panel are available at any time, and through support on working days from 9:00 to 17:00 Riga time. For truly critical data we still recommend an off-site copy as well: no single provider should be your only backup, and we say that about ourselves too.

CloudHosting monitors the network 24/7 and filters clearly malicious volumetric traffic at the network edge, before it reaches your VPS. Security inside the server is your side of the deal: a firewall, fail2ban, rate limiting in Nginx and timely updates stop the large majority of real-world attacks, and our engineers can help you configure them. If your project expects targeted attacks, talk to us before ordering: we will suggest an architecture with a separated frontend, backends on the private network and an upstream protection service where it genuinely makes sense. Most real incidents start with outdated software, so regular updates do more than any single tool.

CloudHosting support provides monitoring and incident response 24/7, and engineers in Riga answer on working days from 9:00 to 17:00 Riga time, in English, Latvian and Russian, by email, phone and tickets. A VPS is self-managed by default: you install, update and monitor your own software. If you would rather hand that off, order server administration from our IT support team: monitoring, security updates, backup checks, web-stack tuning and an engineer who knows your setup. Administration is billed as a separate service, so the VPS prices on this page stay exactly as listed. That format suits companies without a system administrator of their own.

CloudHosting support answers migration questions on working days from 9:00 to 17:00 Riga time, and our administrators can plan and carry out the whole move as an IT support service, including the DNS switchover with minimal downtime. The practical path depends on what you move: a typical website travels as an archive plus a database dump, whole Linux servers move well with rsync, and Windows moves via an image or a fresh install with the data copied over. Small sites usually move in one evening, while larger servers are planned step by step in advance. Keep the old server running until the new one is verified: that is the one rule we insist on.

On a VPS you can run any software: containers, databases, VPN or game servers, not just websites. Shared hosting is cheaper and easier, but resources are shared and configuration is limited to what cPanel allows. Choose shared hosting for a typical website; choose a VPS when you need your own services, custom stacks, guaranteed performance or an isolated environment. Both run in our Riga data centre, so moving from one to the other later is simple, and we help with it.

CloudHosting VPS has no minimum term: you pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months in advance, invoiced in EUR, and nothing is charged automatically from a card or bank account. A cancelled VPS is refunded within 14 days of paying the invoice, by the same method you paid with; the only exceptions under our terms are dedicated server rental and domain registrations. To stop at the end of a paid period, simply do not pay the next invoice, or write to info@cloudhosting.lv and we stop issuing them. Ending a service early, inside a period already paid for, needs 20 days' notice by email. If something is wrong, tell us the reason: most refund requests turn out to be solvable problems.
