Four things worth knowing first

A ready plan is never more expensive

The per-component rates are fitted to our ready VPS plans, so a machine you build by hand is never cheaper than the equivalent plan, and 8 of the 12 plans come out to the cent. If a ready plan fits your size, take the plan. This calculator is for the sizes the plans do not cover.

Pay per component, not per plan size

You pay EUR 5.00 per vCPU, EUR 1.50 per GB of RAM and EUR 0.15 per GB of NVMe. Need 6 cores with 8 GB of RAM, or 4 GB of RAM on 1 TB of disk? Add exactly that, instead of jumping to the next plan and paying for hardware you will not use.

The same hardware as the ready plans

A built machine runs on the same nodes and the same network as our plans: NVMe storage, a 1 Gbps port, 1 IP address and daily backups, included. Nothing here is a second-class server, only a different set of numbers.

Any size, not just the twelve plans

The range runs from 1 to 24 vCPU, 2 to 128 GB of RAM, 20 to 2048 GB of NVMe and 1 to 50 TB of traffic. Every combination inside that box is ordered straight from this page, not quoted by email.

How to build and order a custom VPS

    Pick the hardware

    Set vCPU (1 to 24), RAM (2 to 128 GB), NVMe (20 to 2048 GB) and monthly traffic (1 to 50 TB). Each option shows what it adds or saves against your current pick, so you can see what a core or 16 more GB of RAM actually costs before you commit.

    Choose the operating system, data centre and term

    Pick an image: CentOS 7, 8 or 9, Ubuntu 18.04 to 24.04 LTS, Debian 11, 12 or 13, or Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 or 2025. All of them are free. Then pick Riga or the Netherlands and a term: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, at 0%, 5%, 10% or 15% off.

    Order and connect

    Send the configuration to the cart, where the term, the image and the data centre are still changeable, and pay. The server is live in 30 to 60 seconds, and you get the IP address and root or Administrator access to connect.

When a ready plan does not fit

  • An in-memory database or cache: 64 GB of RAM on 80 GB of disk, because the data set lives in memory.
  • A CI build server: 16 or 24 vCPU to compile fast, 8 GB of RAM and a small disk that gets wiped anyway.
  • A backup or file store: 2 TB of NVMe behind 1 vCPU, because it stores bytes and does not compute.
  • A video or media node: 8 vCPU for transcoding plus 30 TB of monthly traffic to deliver the output.
  • A Windows application server: 6 vCPU and 24 GB of RAM, a ratio that sits between two ready plans.
  • A game or voice server: 8 fast cores for the tick rate but only 8 GB of RAM and 40 GB of disk.

FAQ

How is the price calculated?

EUR 5.00 per vCPU, EUR 1.50 per GB of RAM and EUR 0.15 per GB of NVMe, per month, net of VAT. That subtotal is rounded up to the whole euro, then the term discount is applied, then traffic is added on top. Example: 4 vCPU, 16 GB of RAM and 240 GB of NVMe is 20.00 + 24.00 + 36.00 = 80.00 EUR a month. A configuration that lands on 12.50 is charged as 13.00.

Is a machine I build cheaper than a ready VPS plan?

No, and we would rather say it than let you find out on the invoice. The rates are fitted to the ready plans, so a built machine is never cheaper than the equivalent plan, and 8 of the 12 plans reproduce to the cent: 2 vCPU, 4 GB of RAM and 80 GB of NVMe is 28.00 EUR here and 28.00 EUR as the Micro plan. Plans also include more traffic as they grow, from 1 TB on Nano to 50 TB on Ultra. If a ready plan fits your size, take the plan. Build here when the ratio you need does not exist as a plan.

How much does traffic cost?

The first 1 TB a month is included at no charge. Every further TB is EUR 1.00 a month, so 5 TB adds 4.00 EUR. Traffic is charged at list price and the term discount does not apply to it: a 12 month machine at 80.00 EUR pays 68.00 EUR for the hardware plus the full 4.00 EUR for the traffic. You can pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 30 or 50 TB.

Which operating systems can I install, and does Windows cost extra?

CentOS 7, 8 and 9, Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, 22.04 and 24.04 LTS, Debian 11, 12 and 13, and Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025. Every image is free, Windows included: it is installed on a trial licence and we do not charge for it or for CALs. You pay for the hardware and the traffic, nothing else. MikroTik CHR is not offered here, it is a separate product with its own page.

Where does the server run?

In Riga, Latvia (RIX1) or in Naaldwijk, Netherlands (NL1). The price is identical in both, so choose by latency to your users and by where you want the data to sit. Dubai is not live yet. Every machine gets 1 IP address, a 1 Gbps port, NVMe storage and daily backups.

How fast is the server ready?

Your server is live in 30 to 60 seconds after the payment goes through. The machine is created, the image you picked is installed and you get the IP address and the root or Administrator credentials. There is no manual approval step and no queue.

Can I still change the term or the OS after adding the configuration to the cart?

Yes. The hardware is fixed once it goes to the cart, but the term, the OS image and the data centre stay changeable there, so you can switch from 1 month to 12 months for 15% off, or from Ubuntu 24.04 to Debian 13, before you pay. To change the cores, RAM, disk or traffic, come back to the calculator and build the configuration again.
